My Dream 10-Year Anniversary Concert That Did Not Happen

Written by Brian Tarcy

So, as Pink Floyd once wrote, there are sometimes “plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines.”

This was one. For a long time, I wanted to have a Cape Cod Wave benefit concert for Vinfen, the only people who ever helped my deceased son.

I admit to not having the bandwidth to pull it off, or even try.

I needed help. I never asked. This is my half a page of scribbled lines.

I wanted to bring bands together from all over the Cape for one great benefit concert. I envisioned a sort of Cape Cod Wave annual event, but I never got to year one.

So anyway, the dream… The truth is, I’d want even more local acts, but I think this would be a pretty cool show. The dream show in order…..

The Ticks

The Silent Trees

Will Harrington

The Groovalottos

The Chandler Travis Philharmonic

Zoe Lewis

Schuyler Grant

Johnny Hoy & The Bluefish

The Grab Brothers

The Cyclones

The Value Leaders

The Greenheads

Sarah Swain & The Oh Boys

The Rips It Ups

Crooked Coast

This is me, by way of a dream, begging you, our readers, to please support local original music. You are truly surrounded by geniuses.
