Disturbing Graffiti On Hamlin Avenue, Falmouth – Editorial

N word Falmouth
Written by Brian Tarcy

FALMOUTH – There it was, and still is right now, clear as anything – the n-word written on a curb on Hamlin Avenue. Today. This afternoon. I was out for an afternoon walk when I saw it. [Photo has been altered because of graphic language.]

Really? In 2022? In Falmouth?

In my neighborhood? What kind of despicable reptile had the nerve to walk onto Hamlin Avenue and write the n-word on a curb in front of a house right near the path that runs between the Mullen Hall School and Shivericks Pond in the center of town.

It’s gross. In my town. In my neighborhood.

I thought the canal shielded us from the garbage happening in other parts of America. I thought, and still do, that I live in one of the coolest neighborhoods in America.

But this?
