Johnny Hoy sings “Little Red Door” at Grumpy’s Pub In Falmouth – Video

FALMOUTH – The best dive bar in America is the Ritz Cafe in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard. Here is a song, “Little Red Door” about that bar, by Johnny Hoy & the Bluefish at Grumpy’s Pub, another classic dive bar, in Falmouth.

We at Cape Cod Wave dig the blues, dive bars, and Bill Clinton, our favorite President. (He vacationed here, plus such entertainment!) Bill Clinton, we have heard, is a big fan of Johnny Hoy & the Bluefish, as are we.

As connoisseurs of dive bars, the blues, and American presidents, we offer this video of “Little Red Door,” which has nothing to do with Bill Clinton, but we’d prefer to think that it does.

– If you like Cape Cod music, here is a story that Cape Cod Wave did on the Cape Cod original music scene. We interviewed 20 musicians, four club owners, and two radio deejays – Cape Cod Music And The Joy Of Being Originally Alive

  • Hands down. Hide-a-way in Colchester, CT. 800 sq. ft. of blood and beer soaked rug playing pool with Derringer, Thorogood, The Winter Bros., and James Cotton waiting for a partner. Angus and clan was there in the 80’s.
