FALMOUTH – The fall colors were jumping a few days ago in Beebe Woods, when we picked what we think was the peak foliage day of autumn to shoot this mashup of a walk to the Punch Bowl.
Accompanied by the music of Cape Cod Wave favorite (buy his music, it is great, we promise), Chandler Travis, this video is our 2018 homage to Cape Cod foliage.
This peaceful song by Travis is called, appropriately enough, “The Third Thing.” We sort of think of autumn as the third season.
So while other places brag of their foliage the way Cape Cod brags of its ocean beaches, seafood and overall quaintness, anyone who lives here knows that the foliage on Cape Cod can match that of anywhere else.
