Chandler Travis Philharmonic: “National Geographic” – Music VIDEO

WELLFLEET – On Friday night, the always fun and musically talented Chandler Travis Philharmonic, with eight members, took over the stage at the Wellfleet Beachcomber for an album release party.

The album, “Branches Out,” is Travis’ first album in eight years. We’ve got a copy of it and it’s really good.

Of course, we’ve been a fan of Chandler Travis since we started Cape Cod Wave. Our first video was of his old rock band, The Incredible Casuals, which included Travis, Johnny Spampinato, Aaron Spade and Rikki Bates.

Bates, the drummer, is also in the Chandler Travis Philharmonic, as is John Clark on bass, Berke McKelvey on keyboards and saxophone, John Wolf on trombone, Bob Pilkington on trombone, Jon Fraser on trumpet, and Fred “the Valet” Boak on backup vocals.

This song, “National Geographic,” is about the magazine. And it’s pretty catchy, as we have been singing it all day at Cape Cod Wave headquarters.
