FALMOUTH – So it’s the height of the storm, Niko, right? And as we’re wandering through town just looking to take some storm photos, we look towards the Falmouth library and up in a tree, we see it fluttering.
There’s a bird in the tree. A big bird. We knew right way it could only be one of the famous Falmouth turkeys. All alone, up in a tree acting like he’s windsurfing. Doing his best to keep his balance. We were mesmerized.
We look all over for his friends, but he was on his own. He seemed fine. A turkey in a tree during a winter storm. Not something you see every day.
