FALMOUTH – On Friday afternoon, a couple of motorists learned a difficult lesson about how deep the water at the intersection of Route 28 and Falmouth Heights Road can get when the rains come.
As of mid-afternoon, both cars were still stuck in what looked to be a couple of feet of water that seemed to finally be lowering as the rains subsided. Police blocked the intersection to any other cars. One of the cars had its lights on and the wipers running.
Some kids came by and found joy in the rain.
