PROVINCETOWN – One of the most interesting parts about going to the Provincetown Carnival parade is the time standing on Commercial Street waiting for the parade to start.
The first time I went, I had no idea the parade had not started. There were so many people walking around in costumes. And it is like that at every Carnival parade.
In this video, every person interviewed who is wearing a costume was an audience member. None were actually in the parade.
The parade itself, with the theme of Renaissance and Revolution, was tons of fun. Everyone from those in the parade to the more than 50,000 people watching seemed to be very happy.
So here is a short video of Carnival parade day and evening in Provincetown with music, a song called, “Mardi Thing” by the Chandler Travis Philarharmonic.
Chandler Travis (See our profile) is one of Cape Cod’s musical geniuses. He has many bands and musical styles. Check out his website and buy his music. It has been said that he is the king of the world.
