“Smoking Euphoria” – Steve Wood and the “Catheads” at the Christmas Cavalcade – VIDEO

ORLEANS – The name of this song by Steve Wood is “Smoking Euphoria.” It is a perfect name.

The opening words are, “Christmas on Earth, every day, euphoria.” That describes the over-the-top-driving energy of this song written by Wood as he plays with a hybrid of the bands he is in, the Catbirds and the Greenheads (call them the Catheads).

The song mixes power punk with a very catchy beat and sweet hippie lyrics that sounded profound to us.

Every day is a holiday. Dance to the local sound.

This is the local sound.  Turn it up.
