Spring Fog in Provincetown, Slideshow

Written by Laura M. Reckford

PROVINCETOWN – This has been a spring of epic fog banks throughout the Cape. Earlier this month, we happened to be in the town at the Cape’s tip, Provincetown, when, as dusk fell, a sunny day descended into a dense fog.

The fog was so thick, even the Pilgrim Monument disappeared.

We headed out to Macmillan Wharf to see how the fog played with the fishing boats and ephemera on the docks.

It was magical and otherworldly.
