Siobhan Magnus At the Cape Cod Christmas Cavalcade — VIDEO

ORLEANS – Here is Siobhan Magnus belting out the classic “Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)” and turning it into a gospel anthem of heartache.

I don’t remember who won “American Idol” in 2010 when Siobhan Magnus was a finalist, but whoever it is has nothing on Magnus and this video is all the proof you need.

With all due respect to Darlene Love and Mariah Carey who have famous renditions of this song, there is really no comparison. Siobhan owns it.

In front of a standing-room-only audience awed by the immense talent on display, Magnus finds the emotional core in the lyrics and makes us all feel the longing that can come with this season.

The performance was one of dozens at the Cape Cod Christmas Cavalcade for the Homeless, which took place Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Old Jailhouse Tavern in Orleans. The event raises money for the NOAH homeless shelter in Hyannis. To find out more about the shelter and to donate to the shelter, click here.
