Ice-Breaking Swans & Dancing Ice, VIDEO: Music By Chandler Travis

FALMOUTH – Nature is crazy at this time of year. We recently found four (well, three – you’ll see) ice-breaking swans, and some dancing ice at Salt Pond. We were mesmerized.

The swans found themselves in a corner of Salt Pond and then, when we weren’t looking, three of them decided to break out of their little corner. The fourth swan was not interested in swimming through the ice.

And the ice, as it froze and unfroze with the undulating tide, seemed musical. So we contacted Cape Cod Wave favorite Chandler Travis, who always seems to have new music coming out.

Sure enough, after seeing this video, he had what we think is a perfect new song, “Queen Rachel” from an upcoming Chandler Travis Three-O album that will be titled, “Backward Crooked From The Sunset.”

As Travis said in an email, after watching the vide, “It sure made me glad I’m not a swan.” And then he added, “I’ve always been happy about that anyway.”

If he was a swan, we’d hope he’d be a music-playing swan because everyone at the worldwide corporate headquarters of Cape Cod Wave is a Chandler Travis fan. We recommend you buy all his great albums from each of his one million or so amazing bands, as well as all of the swag at Chandler Travis website.
