Fred Boyle, “Smooth Sailing” – Music VIDEO

YARMOUTH – This nice-to-the-ears song, “Smooth Sailing,” written by piano player, Fred Boyle, was part of a live jazz presentation recently at the Station Avenue Elementary School.

The song was an extra local treat in the history-of-jazz presentation given by Boyle, of Yarmouth, bass player Rich Hill, of Bourne, and drummer Bart Weisman, who also led the discussion/presentation.

It was a quick, interesting interactive history for the students, and when it came to the modern/smooth jazz era, students’ ears were treated to a great song by a local talent.
