The Oh Boys! with Sarah Swain, featuring Liam Hogg, “Up Jumped The Devil” – Music VIDEO

WELLFLEET – We have seen Liam Hogg play drums with, it seems, every band in the world except The Beatles and that may only be because we missed the show when Ringo was sick.

Hogg, a full-time member of at least three great Cape Cod bands, the Oh Boys!, the Rip-It-Ups and Earth Junior, is usually in the background, as most drummers are, driving the song with a perfect beat.

As we watched his various bands, we began to realize that Hogg is also quite a vocalist and this song shows off not only his singing ability but also very good theatrical laugh – even devilish.

So here is, as Sarah Swain often refers to him, “Liam Hogg, the singing drummer” with the Oh Boys! and Swain playing “Up Jumped The Devil” by Roy Brown.
