Will Harrington, “Goodnight Irene” – Music VIDEO

PROVINCETOWN – One of the many joys of walking down Commercial Street in the summer in Provincetown is the very good chance you will come upon Will Harrington playing his standup piano and singing, among other things, amazing versions of American standards.

Harrington is an all-in energetic street performer with a repertoire of songs not often heard anymore. His performances are always compelling. He gives the old songs new life.

Frankly, the first time we saw him perform, the day before his 18th birthday,  he became an instant Cape Cod Wave favorite. We have seen a lot of music since we recorded that, but it sticks with us.

So as last week’s Beat The Heat Concert in Wellfleet reminded us, we must enjoy the best music while our summer paradise weather is here.

Thus, here is Will Harrington playing the standard, “Goodnight Irene.”
