It’s so quiet. That’s really what you notice at Pleasant Lake watching the sun fall in late January. Like anywhere on Cape Cod, it is so easy to imagine this place bustling in the summer. The Pleasant Lake General Store was nearly empty, when we stopped in asking if it was okay to park there before a walk. “Sure, But can’t do it in the summer,” we were told.
Understood. Frankly, we came to see this.
