WELLFLEET – On Cape Cod, sometimes the best entertainment is the artistic weather.
These photographs exist because beer tastes good.
Sitting at the bar at the Beachcomber after a day at the Old Timers Classic Longboard Surfing Contest (check back later for that story and photo slideshow), Cape Cod Wave was looking at the Cape Cod waves when this colorful storm front, with its distinctive lines, showed up over the Atlantic.
It moved fast. By the final photograph in this sequence, the rain had started. Within seconds, it was pouring. Everyone else was taking photographs. So I did what everyone else was doing. That’s how I get all my ideas.
