CHATHAM – The first time I ever saw Jukin’ J & The Rockers was not on purpose. I happened upon them in August 2019, never having heard of them before. I was incredibly impressed.

So when I saw that Jukin’ J & The Rockers, who are unlike any other band on Cape Cod, were performing at Chatham First Night, I made sure to go.



Unfortunately, I arrived halfway through the set after seeing another band and I missed this band’s original songs. I had heard a few before and I am a fan.

But I did get to hear this really cool interpretation of “Whammer Jammer” by the J Geils Band, which has been a favorite of mine for decades. Enjoy. I sure did.
