ORLEANS – Near the end of yet another perfect Cape Cod summer day, we found ourselves staring at the aptly named Pleasant Bay, from a spot in Orleans just off of Route 28.
This is Cape Cod, where any little detour off the main road can lead to a view that will soothe one’s soul.
This is what many people drive right by every day. We’ve certainly done so.
But something about the most pleasant of all days led us right here to Pleasant Bay.
Indeed, it soothed our soul.
