Pamet To The Atlantic – Trail Walking In Truro

TRURO – For a bug magnet such as myself, walking through the thick woods of an overgrown cranberry bog from the Pamet parking lot near the former Coast Guard station to the Atlantic Ocean was challenging.

For much of the mile or so walk through the Pamet Area Trail system, I had several bugs swirling about my sweaty head. I named each of them George, so as not to get them confused. And I hoped that this bug-infested walk would be worth it.

Well, once again Cape Cod rewarded my efforts and even managed to give me fond memories of my new collective of tiny pets.

And if you happen to wander out there yourself, please say hi to George. And George…
