ON A BOAT – Adjectives are outmatched by a summer day on a small boat off of Woods Hole.
We are surrounded by ocean, blue sky and what feels like grace, or maybe just a good vibe. The temperature is 85 degrees or so. There is no humidity. A light wind.
A good friend.
Put it all together and just breath it in. Kayaks go by. Sailboats.
We stop at an island and see a small dog walking in the water, kids pulling a fishing net, and adults sipping cocktails with their toes in the sand. “I wonder what they’re doing in downtown Boston right now,” someone says.
