Murkwood Conservation Lands, Sandwich – Slideshow

Murkwood Conservation Lands

SANDWICH – The Murkwood Conservation Area was a new walk in the new year and it did not disappoint.

What we saw of the 129-acre town-owned conservation area offered great Cape lighting though the woods on a path that took us to the always interesting Scorton Creek.

And past the marsh, we could even see waves from Cape Cod Bay crashing onto East Sandwich Beach. Not bad for one walk.

But there was one more little quirky find – an in-the-woods creation where it seemed a little blue man was hanging out with his money and his favorite to-scale tree. We let him be.
