Falmouth After Early February Snowfall

FALMOUTH – Try to take a walk as early as possible the morning after a snowstorm. That way, your steps can be the first tracks as the sun’s rays bounce off the newly frosted trees and shrubs.

But keep an eye out for cross-country ski tracks. Those ski bums, a long way from the northern New England trails, always manage to make it outside first.

In a neighborhood near Falmouth center after Friday’s snowfall, all was quiet—just the clear blue sky and the sounds of snow crunching underfoot.

The next storm is on its way. Plan an early morning walk the morning after.
