SANDWICH -If a tree falls in the Shawme Crowell State Forest, other trees help.
That’s just one of the things we saw in one afternoon visit to this gem of quietude and wondrous trails.
We also saw mushrooms, leaves painting themselves, and a vista to the sky that made one feel like an ant in blades of grass.
