DENNIS – I am always on the search for new original music so it was a thrill to see the fun bluegrass band, SugarBucket, this past weekend at the Harvest Gallery Wine Bar.
SugarBucket is a five-piece band that was missing its dobro player, Jonathan Huge, who I had previously seen play with the Sacred Mounds.
The four who were there – Bo Hemuth on guitar, Billy Fitzgibbon on bass, C. Cooter Pickens on banjo, and charismatic and energetic mandolin player Chippy Bottoms – put on a fantastic, fun show.
