WELLFLEET – Heaven probably serves Wellfleet oysters. And it most likely looks a lot like Wellfleet.
Hopefully, heaven features music by a cool band like the Rip-It-Ups, but maybe now we’re just dreaming.
We like our heaven here on Earth, and on Saturday our version of heaven was the Wellfleet Oyster Festival, where five-star restaurant oysters were easier to get than a hot dog at a baseball game. The day was delicious in every way.
With the Rip-It-Ups providing the sound for the Wellfleet Oyster Festival, Saturday afternoon in heaven, er, Wellfleet, looked something like this.
