FALMOUTH – On Cape Cod, bike paths lean towards the spectacular, and that is certainly true of the 10-mile long Shining Sea Bikeway that runs from North Falmouth to Woods Hole, where it seems every pedal brings a new feast for the eyes.
We saw a dog swim, shadows paint, and kids ride. The air was perfect, the sky was blue, and the water of Vineyard Sound was a view to behold, as was a site way further up the bike path, the Great Sippewissett Marsh.
Summer’s end is supposed to be Labor Day weekend. Well okay, we’ll ride it out.
