FALMOUTH – Falmouth’s Main Street is, in many ways, the quintessential New England Main Street, and so, on the weekend before Christmas, we admired the two old churches that sit across from each other.
With the sun setting, we found the two visages especially interesting.
The town Christmas display on the Falmouth Village Green sits between the granite Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, founded in 1888, and the wooden First Congregational Church, founded in 1708. It sort of gives the town a feel of a perfect secular/religious Christmas balance.
