NORTH FALMOUTH – For a while, a seagull and his shadow were the only ones walking on Old Silver Beach as sunset approached.
Some folks sat in their cars and watched the beautiful night progress, but the beach itself for much of the show was empty of people. The air was nice. If you listened, you could hear the voices of summer approaching.
Otherwise, we heard only soft waves.
