PROVINCETOWN – Beech Forest is something of a hidden gem of Provincetown.
In a town boasting the spectacular Race Point Beach and Herring Cove Beach, as well as the always interesting Commercial Street, it’s easy to think of Beech Forest as merely a sign you drive past on your way to somewhere else.
But we pulled into the parking lot and took the one-mile loop walk over mostly level terrain, and discovered some sort of ancient serenity. A local we know told us it is her favorite place. We understand why.
