“Are You Sure,” Steve Shook with Sarah Swain & The Oh Boys – Music VIDEO

WELLFLEET – There have not been a lot of Steve Shook sightings on local stages in recent years, but all that we have seen have been memorable.

We will forever think of him as authoring our favorite Christmas song ever, “This Is No Time For Fun (This is Christmas),” featuring the epic backup band, the Elftones.

Shook has been writing great songs for decades. He spent years with Chandler Travis, performing as Travis and Shook, a duo who often opened for George Carlin. He was also in the Incredible Casuals with Travis, and he has written songs since then.

This one, “Are You Sure?” was performed at the Wellfleet Oysterfest with Sarah Swain and The Oh Boys – Sarah Swain on Guitar, Mark Usher on guitar, Ron Siegel on bass, and Liam Hogg on drums.
