Solitude At Newcomb Hollow Beach – Slideshow

Solitude At Newcomb Hollow Beach
Written by Brian Tarcy

WELLFLEET – The perks of winter on the Cape are obvious if you look in the right places. One such place is Newcomb Hollow Beach, especially if you get to experience it in something of meditational solitude.

It is hard to overstate how awesome, in the true sense of the word, it is have this Wellfleet beach to oneself.

There is connection to the universe in such a place. The waves are of the moment, and then they disappear only to be followed by another. It’s all fleeting, of course.

But the moment sticks around, enriching the soul long after it has ended.
