Snowy Old Silver Beach, The Bridge & The Marsh – Slideshow

Snowy Old Old Silver Beach
Written by Brian Tarcy

FALMOUTH – After the snow, it seemed a good time to check out Falmouth’s most popular beach, Old Silver Beach.

While the sky decided to be gray, it didn’t matter. There was plenty of white to contrast it, but not too much. We got around fine, and the muted view was nuanced and beautiful.

In about six months, this area will be full of people. But on this day in late January, we had it almost all to ourselves. Even though the sun was hidden, the area shined in its own way.

A day at the beach as the weather changes is like a fingerprint or a snowflake. No two are alike. This one was like this.
