BREWSTER – Paul Sullivan kayaks in Stony Brook in Brewster toward the Stony Brook Grist Mill and Museum. Sullivan, who lives in Kentucky, said he comes to the Cape every 4th of July for a family reunion.
“There are 15 of us this year,” he said.
Sullivan said it is his second year kayaking on the pond. Last year, he saw the herring traveling up the run to their spawning grounds.
He said his family picks Brewster for their vacations because “we enjoy the beaches. It’s a great community.”
