2023 on Scenic Cape Cod – VIDEO with Music by The Grab Brothers

CAPE COD – The year 2023 with its never-ending news of weather, wars and mass shootings, offered a great reason to escape to the calming natural beauty of Cape Cod as often as possible.

In other years, just taking visual pleasure in what I was seeing was the great reward for my Cape Cod hikes.

But the many horrible events of the past year had me seeking out and breathing in nature with more of an urgency and purpose this year. Quite simply, I needed it.

Along the way, I ran into sunrises, sunsets, beaches, fishing boats, surfers, birds and more. All of it was good for the soul. This video is a glimpse of what I saw traveling all around the Cape during the past 12 months.

The video is paired with a song by The Grab Brothers, “Wind Keeps Calling.”

The song was written by Lawrence Grab, and features a guitar solo by Jack Thammarat, a famous guitarist In Thailand, and also a guitar solo by Marc Grab.

The Grab Brothers are one of Cape Cod Wave’s favorite bands. We have collaborated with them, as well as seen them live many times. We have found that their music fits perfectly with the beauty of the Cape Cod landscape.

The band is currently working on a new album and videos with their record label, Pilot Light Records. To learn more about the band, click here.
