BOURNE – Underneath the Bourne Bourne Bridge in the early afternoon, we looked from the Cape side back across at the rest of America.
A tugboat crossed our path amidst some fluttering red leaves crying for autumn attention as they slowly die.
On occasion, we marvel at the Cape Cod Canal and it’s power to transform one by just crossing it and leaving the rest of America on the other side. It’s momentarily comforting to think that it works that way.
It is a good moment.
