MASHPEE – On a cold Sunday afternoon with a light dusting of snow on the ground, I visited the Mashpee River Woodlands DesRosier Property, off of Great Neck Road.
While this was a short hike into the 11-acre property, it was very interesting as it led to a great view of the partially frozen river.
The dusting of snow and the half frozen water made the view particularly nice in either direction.
And I was somewhat surprised to find an oyster farm in the tidal river.
