YARMOUTH – As I continue my quest to visit every cool hiking spot and swimming hole on Cape Cod, I recently came upon the Flax Pond Recreation Area.
The whole area has a basketball court, ballfields, volleyball and more but I was most interested in the pond itself.
It is quite a nice spot. Cape Cod has several hundred ponds and it’s always good to remind an ocean-obsessed soul that there is a lot of variety on this 70-mile peninsula.
Here is the view from the beach and around the beach of what is surely a hopping summertime spot.
