William & Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary, Harwich – Slideshow

William & Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary
Written by Brian Tarcy

HARWICH – We recently spent a pleasant afternoon hiking the trails of the William and Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary and the town Island Pond Conservation Lands.

We got a beautiful view of Katie’s Pond and the walk brought us across the Cape Cod Rail Trail at mile four.

We on Cape Cod are incredibly lucky that, in this time of Covid-19, there are so many special hikes all over the Cape to allow us to get exercise, social distance, and bathe in the beauty of this wonderful place.

The William and Barbara Hacker Wildlife Sanctuary and the Island Pond Conservation Lands were certainly a great place to spend an afternoon.
