Uncle Tim’s Bridge & Hamblen Park – Slideshow

Uncle Tim's Bridge
Written by Brian Tarcy

WELLFLEET – Every time I head towards Wellfleet Harbor, Uncle Tim’s Bridge catches my eye. Sometimes, I cannot resist a hike there.

Yesterday was one of those days when the area beckoned.

It was an mid-spring high sun kind of day and there was almost nobody there. I had the bridge and the park mostly to myself.  And that’s my kind of hike.

While I have hiked much of the Cape, there are a few spots I keep going back to, and Uncle Tim’s Bridge is near the top of that list. These photos give you an idea why.
