Late January Sunset from Truro To Provincetown – Slideshow

Outer Cape January sunset
Written by Brian Tarcy

PROVINCETOWN – As Saturday afternoon slowly morphed into another early January evening, we watched the sun set as we traveled from Truro to Provincetown.

The famous Days Cottages of Truro with just a bit of snow provided our first beautiful view. Next came a stop at the Harbor Hotel and finally we finished in the center of Provincetown.

The sky was amazing and it kept getting better. It was worth the drive, even when faced with back a long drive back to Falmouth. We did wander on Commercial Street for a minute. One way to describe what we saw was that it was not the height of the season.

But the sunset, however, was a crowd pleaser.
