EASTHAM – Everything glowed. That’s why we love summer on Cape Cod.
While a lot of places on the Cape have amazing vistas, the Fort Hill area might be the most diverse and interesting. And in the summer sun, as we may have mentioned, everything glowed.
On parts of the 1-1/2 mile trail, which was already marked with warnings of ticks, were quite a number of very hungry bugs.
These bugs may not like the taste of all humans, but they seem to love the taste of a Cape Cod Wave reporter. The welts were worth it, because, as these photos attest, Cape Cape Cod Wave’s favorite artist loves to work here.
We just watch in awe. And then we scratch.
