D. Isabel Smith Monomoy River Conservation Lands – Slideshow

D. Isabel Smith Conservation

HARWICH – The D. Isabel Smith Conservation Lands offer a great walk through the woods on a large 42-acre parcel. The woods then lead to a pretty view of Monomoy River and Pleasant Bay.

The parcel is off of Bay Road, which is off Route 28. As with many walks on Cape Cod, once you get into the woods the busy world disappears and the calm of nature soothes the soul.

There were two parts of the walk, including a long trail that led to power lines and then continued along those power lines. And there was that wonderful overlook of Monomoy River and Pleasant Bay. A wise person once told us, when you come to a fork in the road, take it. Sage advice.
