FALMOUTH – We were walking while others were driving when this Wow! sunset happened.
This is Cape Cod, Surf Drive Beach, in the evening.
We were using our version of a treadmill, while others were on their evening commute when the world turned spectacular.
We first noticed, as we always do, the ducks having their evening duck party at the beach but then as we walked, suddenly we were nearly breathless. Yes, we actually said to the universe at large, “Wow!”
And we thought that some people have an evening commute on some crowded highway, and some walk on a treadmill in a gym.
Yes, that’s what we thought.
And then we looked and said Wow! again.
