DENNIS – On a recent typical Cape Cod spring day with the temperature wavering between chilly and warm, literally by the minute, we visited the long expanse that is West Dennis Beach.
Sometimes the sun was out. Mostly not. But it didn’t matter as the beach offered enough to distract us.
We parked at the far end of the parking lot, by Bass River, and then walked a big stretch of beach.
There were lines of shells guiding our way along the coast, and birds playing in the surf. Chilly or warm, it was all enjoyable.
