TRURO – Sometimes, the waves and dunes beckon.
Even if the weather is gray, the power of a place such as Longnook Beach is worth the trek from wherever you are just to stand with awe in the wind for ten minutes.
While 11 minutes might be pushing it in that wind, the first 10 minutes are a vast jolt to all five senses – starting obviously with sight, hearing, and smell. And then the wind feels bigger, while life tastes sweeter.
Even in gray weather, it’s just so cool that a place like this exists.
