BOURNE – The reflections were glowing on a recent visit to the Four Ponds Conservation Area, which is my favorite autumn hike on Cape Cod.
Four Ponds, at any time of year, is super nice. But in autumn, especially on a nice sunny day like I recently had there, the place is tough to beat.
Three years ago, in 2019, I put together a music video of a hike there with an original jazz song by Cape Cod’s own Bert Jackson.
And while I definitely recommend finding your way to Four Ponds to go for a hike, the bigger overall recommendation is get out somewhere. It is currently spectacular on Cape Cod.
