Cahoon Hollow Beach, Waiting For A Storm – Slideshow

Cahoon Hollow
Written by Brian Tarcy

WELLFLEET – On the day before an expected epic blizzard we headed to Cahoon Hollow Beach, where all was calm.

The beach was nearly empty. We saw a couple of dog walkers and that was it. We did not even run into a seagull.

Walking the nearly empty beach, with so many creative lines in the sand, was a reminder that the beauty of Cape Cod is eternal and yet fleeting. This will all look different by the time you read this.

And then next summer, it will change again when the closed-for-the-season Beachcomber re-opens.
