FALMOUTH – The statue of Katharine Lee Bates, Falmouth native and author of “America The Beautiful” was surrounded by perfect pink blossoms on this election day.
America is beautiful and the statue on the lawn of the library rarely looked better than on a day when voters were exercising their rights.
As it was election day in Falmouth, and in many other communities across Cape Cod and the nation, we are hoping for good results from sea to shining sea.
When America votes, it is a beautiful thing.
