WELLFLEET – On a recent day we walked about half of the total five miles of trails of the spectacular Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

With wide open vistas of salt marsh and barrier beach along with beautiful trails through pine woodlands, this huge sanctuary is somewhat overwhelming to the senses.



The first reaction on seeing it is, Wow.

With warm weather extending into November, this walk was a wonderful way to find the best of Cape Cod.
